Wiggles World is a family favorite area at Six Flags Great America theme park in Gurnee, Illinois. The charming colorful play area provides a sheltered setting exclusively for toddlers and their families to enjoy. Little ones cool off in the refreshing fountains on hot summer days and pretend to be Captain Feather Sword as they climb and play in the interactive pirate ship. The live action theater features shows of the popular characters in an intensely colorful venue. Yummy Yummy Cafe, a walk-up counter food service, features healthy alternative foods not usually found at theme parks. Rides within the Wiggles World attraction include a teacup ride, car ride, carousel, and a mini-drop all positioned on a cushioned no-slip child safe flooring surface. Nearby restrooms are fitted out with private areas for nursing mothers. Our work on this fun project involved extensive theming using cartoon-like distortion exemplified by the Wiggles television show. In addition, we planned the rerouting of the ride queuing for the American Eagle roller coaster attraction.
