Bleck Design Group is an award-winning industrial design and engineering firm with offices in Massachusetts and California. Located in a turn-of-the-century textile mill, the Massachusetts headquarters’ plan features an aggressive geometry, creating a synergy with the company’s cutting-edge product design. Elements of rusticity contrast with and heighten the company’s product offerings. We played up the loft nature of the building shell, restoring hickory factory floors and utilized office furniture fashioned from reclaimed wood. In contrast, the hi-tech elements included fabric duct work, high-efficiency indirect lighting, and a modern product display gallery.
