Shakou Park Ridge is located in downtown Park Ridge, IL, a picturesque town 14 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. It is conveniently connected by commuter rail and highways to Chicago and other suburbs. Park Ridge is home to over 37,000 residents and has a lively, attractive downtown shopping and dining scene.

Situated in an existing downtown building, the entire masonry structure was remodeled to accommodate the 300-person capacity restaurant. A wall of windows along the street front opens fully, offering an alfresco dining experience on pleasant days and evenings.

Guests are warmly welcomed at the host stand before being guided to their reserved table or to a relaxed, upholstered conversation grouping. The large, open dining room is divided into a variety of seating options to suit every taste.

The long, quartz-topped bar is divided into two areas: a cocktail bar and an adjacent sushi bar where guests are amazed and entertained by the expert mixologists and master sushi chefs.

Guests arriving for private events can enjoy their own intimate dining experience in the sophisticated saki room. Like all of the spaces in the restaurant, the saki room reflects the balanced, modern aesthetic of the now-famous Shakou brand.

Overhead, the original wood bow-string truss roof structure is exposed and sparkling crystal chandeliers illuminate the comfortable space. Underfoot, a glossy stained concrete floor finish reflects the room’s many sparkling lights. The exciting, city-vibe is further reinforced by the luxury finishes and colored lighting, accented by carefully placed Asian art pieces.
