Santa Claus
Any child can tell you where Santa Claus lives. But there’s only one place in the US that can lay a special claim to the jolly old elf himself: Santa Claus, Indiana!
Santa Claus, IN claims to be “America’s Christmas Hometown”
Santa Claus is located in southern Indiana, about 45 miles east of Evansville, near Interstate 64. It is a small town of 2,500 residents that plays host to over 1 million visitors during the summer season alone!
The town offers Christmas-themed attractions throughout the year. Visit Santa’s Stables, Santa’s Candy Castle, and Santa Claus Christmas Store year-round. During the spring-fall, kids of all ages will enjoy a trip to Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari, the first theme park in the US.
HOT TIP! In 2015, Holiday World will launch a new first-of-its-kind launched, wing coaster.
We are delighted to be working with Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari on the cool new coaster named “Thunderbird”.
On week days during December, kids and their parents can also post letters to Jolly Old Saint Nick at the charming Santa Claus post office, where a special Santa Claus postmark is available.
