Gurnee Village Hall

Incorporated in 1928, the Village of Gurnee is home to Six Flags Great America and Gurnee Mills Mall. Built in 1992, the Gurnee Village Hall houses the village’s administrative offices, finance department, and building and engineering departments, as well as the Council Chambers. The traditionally inspired central lantern skylight is illuminated on evenings when public meetings are scheduled, invoking an image of openness in government. The aspect of the lit lantern is an American Tradition dating back to early settlers.
